Drop Ship Accounting Process

Hi People,

Can anyone please help me understand how the Accounting is done for the Drop Ship Orders.

As the Shipped Item will never come to Inventory how the costing will be done for this item.

How it will effect the COGS Account,Inventory Valuation Accounts.
