How supplier and customer login is configured to see only restricted data.

There was a very good webcast on 12-Mar-2015 regarding Collaborative Planning flow, I would like to understand following things;

When we give access to the supplier in Collaborative Planning Portal for supply commit, with set of responsibility he can access.

in our webcast 12-Mar-2015 slide no 32 for supplier can do commits.

How data will be filter for the speicific supplier only, since we are only given the parameter as plan name, in the same plan there could be many supplier as well.

would like to understand more on the setup part , how we can restict the data for the supplier, so he can only see his items and his data only for the commits.
