Deployments with CSDT and Publishing

G'day,

Is there an Oracle best practice approach to deployments now that we have CSDT?

CSDT is not good for data as I have found out (for various reasons), but even just for code alone poses some challenges.


When you publish, it wants to take templates as dependencies. When you code templates with assets in map entries, it wants to take those assets. So you cannot quite separate the two.


If you CSDT into Dev only and publish from there, then you are back to not being able to version templates properly.
