Aix - Solaris migration using dataguard 11gr2 ?

Hi all,

11g had crossplatform support , but due to a bug in controlfile, dataguard configuration was failing aix-solaris and vice versa.

but recently a workaround has been realesed for that.

note is still under edit, not public avaliable yet. Has any one tried the mehod ?  experienced any problem ?

I have tried with a small config ang it worked.
