Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. What are the changes to apply on DB Side when we change hostname of an oracle DB 11g ( non-RAC)?

Hello Guys,

We need to move a machine from non-production to production environment on Centos 6.5.3 by changing the hostname.

What are the changes that need to be done on Oracle Database Side and Operating Systems?
