Fixed Asset (Account Analysis Report) report parameters allow periods only in same year ?

I need to reconcile my GL YTD with Fixed Assets Total of transactions ( additions , depreciation .. .etc ). We found system report that can be run from FA sub-ledger called (Account Analysis Report) ;
We need to run it from period Jan-11 to Dec-14 , However it only allows periods in same year; so if choose from period = 'Jan-11' then to period can be maximum 'Dec-11' ,
is there a way around this ?
