Quick regarding vm.cfg in OVS 3.2.8 and OVM 3.2.8

Hi

I need to update a vm.cfg file for  a windows virtual machine. The parameter i want to update is

FROM

on_reboot = 'preserve'

TO

on_reboot = 'restart'

Question: Can i edit the vm.cfg view command line for the said virtual machine? If yes, will they're be an impact to OVM manager while trying to stop/start/etc or any other know issues.
