Archiving multiple sets of books

We have multiple sets of books tied to specific custom responsibilities.  I want to archive the oldest 3 years for each set of books.  Is this possible to do without having to truncate the archive tables?  The first attempt to archive for the 3 year timeframe is a success.  When I attempt to archive in my second set of books, it complains that there is already data in the archive tables and I need to export and truncate the tables.  Log details below.
