T4A for Independent Contractors

Hi All,

I tried the Canada Payroll area for this and did not get an answer so I thought I would try here.

I have a requirement in Canada to issue a T4A to independent contractors paid out of AP. I know in the US they can run a 1099 straight from the AP module, does anyone if this can be done for a T4A and if not how are other Canadian users handling this?
