V$SQL_SHARED_CURSOR retention

I'd like to know what is the retention in V$SQL_SHARED_CURSOR ? And what is the retention for another performance V$  How and where is that retention set in database? I ask this question because I need to know the reason about high count versions in a statemente reported in AWR report between old snap_ids
