Can you use SYSDG Role to monitor Oracle 12c standby databases within OEM 12c Cloud Control

We are actively pursuing use of Oracle 12c cluster database with and monitoring from Oracle Enterprise manager 12c cloud control.  when setting up standby databases through OEM we want to set monitoring to use a userid, say DBSNMP,  with SYSDG privileges so that DBSNMP can log into the standby database when it is in standby mode.  However, the only choices we have are normal credentials or SYSDBA credentials.  has anyone else experienced this?  Have you come up with an answer or a work-around to allow the SYSDG privileged user to monitor the database through OEM?   We know that any user
