How can I amend a calendar that has been opened for Budgeting

Hi

The user created a calendar for the New fiscal year ans instead of the 3 character prefix for the motn, created it with the full name of the month. The Budget year was subsequebtly opened, thus preventing any amendments to the periods. Is there a way to amend this?
