Serial Number status Issue

Hi People,

When i Receive more than One Serial in One Receiving Transaction the status of the Serial goes to "Defined but not Used".

I expect this to be "Resides in Stores".

Can anyone help me understand if we can receive more than one quantity of serialized item in a Single Transaction and what should be the status of the Serials.
