On AP Invoice , IPV account was generated (from Inventory - org Parameters setup) . I changed the IP

On AP Invoice , IPV account was generated (from Inventory - org Parameters setup) . I changed the IPV account in setup and reran the create accounting on Invoice. However , the changed IPV does not get reflected on the existing  Invoice. Will the change only be reflected on new Invoices and will not updatethe old Invoices ?
