Reclassification Process in Oracle assets

Business case:
We know in FA life and method of depreciation is defaulted from Asset category Definition.
Now I have an asset (From Category A with Dep Method STL 20 Yrs life)date placed in service 01-Dec-2010 has a life for 20 Yrs depreciated till 2015. Now If we recalss the assets to category B with STL 10 Yrs life how does system behave

1. What will be the life of asset after recalss?
2. Will depreciation gets recalculated with New category?
3. Are there any specific steps to followed for doing such reclassification?
