Option to Change to Change From BYE message to Cancel

Dear All,

 

Please help me to identify any option in SBC  Change the BYE message to Cancel when Calling Party disconnect the call before answer.

 

Call Flow : NGN Softswitch----->SBC 4250 ---> Voip Carrier

 

1.call orginating from Softswitch and send to Voip Carrier via SBC 4250.Our softswitch send BYE message only when calling party disconnect the call before answer.Majority of the Voip carriers will send only CANCEL if calling party disconnect the call before answer.

 

As per RFC,sending BYE and CANCEL both are correct. But majority of the carriers not understand the BYE,which leads to no response from for those seesion and it will keep alive in the SBC for maximum timeout seconds (180 seconds).
