SIP-REFER issues

We are in the middle of a project were several systems will be replaced.
We have some luck that we could build this new network (VMware based Avaya systems) seperately.
However the customer doesn't have a test SBC so we need to execute this on a live production system (always nice ;-) )
Current Production Setup:
* Oracle SBC 3820, running nn639M3
* Avaya Session Manager 6.3.3, This system routes incoming calls from SBC to either ACM or AVP.
* Avaya Communication Manager 5.2.1, is the Pabx system.
* Avaya Voice Portal 5.1, is the IVR system.
The typical scenario for SIP REFER here is that a call comes in via the "Outside" Realm which is in fact the Service Providers network and this is routed via the Avaya Session Managers to the Avaya Voice Portal (IVR), when we choose to speak with a live agent the call is "Referred" to the Avaya CM. All goes well here.
