TLS and IP-SEC(Lawful intercept) relationship

edited Dec 10, 2013 4:56PM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

I have a question w.r.t the TLS and (IP-SEC)Lawful intercept relationship. Our new SBC(4500-6.3) is using TLS towards the access clients. SIP is encrypted with TLS and RTP is using UDP.

We have an ip-sec tunnel towards Lawful-interception(LI) system to transfer Media directly from the SBC to the LI system when an hairpin call is made. We noticed that Media is missing on Lawful-interception system when we make an hairpin call. Lawful intercept and IP-Sec configuration is as follows (the tunnel is up);

lawful-intercept:

        state                          enabled

        type                           ALIP

        realm                          core.signaling

        alip-agent-address             10.45.212.185:9922

        alip-keepalive-timer           30

        alip-intercept-timeout         30

Howdy, Stranger!
