No OPTIONS send to session agent

I configured "ping-method  OPTIONS;hops=0 " "ping-interval 60" "ping-send-mode   keep-alive" in a session agent.however , the SBC doesn't send  SIP message "OPTIONS" to session agent which  may result in oos of the session agent .what might be the reason?
