SIP over TCP in access realm translated to SIP over UDP

edited Nov 4, 2013 10:22AM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 8 commentsAnswered

Hi all:

One customer is requiring interconnect his AVAYA IP-PBX using TCP as the transport protocol for SIP. Whe have a SD4500 used for SIP trunking. We normally use UDP as transport protocol both at access and core side.

Is it possible to use TCP in the access realm while keep on using UDP in the core realm, doing the SBC kind of TCP to UDP interworking?

Thanks in advance
