Transport Method used for communications with your Session-Agent

Hi Guys,

 

As per some of my previous posts, this isn't either new info nor undocumented..., in any case I believe it can be useful for new partners and customers embracing our products, more specifically in our enterprise conquer where i'm working closely.

 

At sip-interface level, more specifically sip-ports configuration object:

 

transport-protocol—Indicate the transport protocol you want to associate with the SIP port. The default is  UDP. The valid values are:

•  TCP—Provides a reliable stream delivery and virtual connection service to applications through the use of sequenced acknowledgment with the retransmission of packets when necessary.

•  UDP—Provides a simple message service for transaction-oriented services. Each UDP header carries both a source port identifier and destination port identifier, allowing high-level protocols to target specific applications and
