SIP UPDATE message - local handling?

The REFER-CALL-TRANSFER feature is very cool, but is there something similar for UPDATEs or REINVITEs that would allow these types of messages to be intercepted by the SBC and handled locally as well?

 

Does the REFER-CALL-TRANSFER feature already do this and I just missed it?

 

Have done the requisite 30 minutes Googling for an answer before posting here, but no luck....
