RFC2833-mode and SDP answers

Hello,

I have a doubt about the configuration of the RFC2833-mode in the sip-interfaces and in the session-agents (SA) in a peering scenario.

The scenario is the following:

User A from SA-access àAccess realm sip-interface à Core realm sip-interface à SA-core on core side (B user behind this SA)

And the configuration for rfc2833 on all the config elements involved:

SA-access : Transparent

Both sip-interfaces: Transparent

SA-core: Preferred

The signaling flow is like this:

1)      We receive an INVITE from A on SA-access with a SDP offer that contains telephone-events.

2)      As the INVITE reaches the sip-interfaces both are configured as transparent, and when the local-policy routing takes place the signaling is routed straight forward to the SA on the core side, that is configured as 2833 preferred.

Howdy, Stranger!
