HMR to add PPI on anonymous call

edited Oct 15, 2014 6:29PM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

We mainly use our SBC as a gateway between a couple of PBXs and our ITSP. All registrations to the ITSP are proxied through our SBC, mainly so the PBX's SIP trunks aren't NATted.

This works fine for normal calls, however for anonymous alls our ITSP requires these calls to have the following properties in its SIP INVITE:

- The From header value is 'anonymous@anonymous.invalid'

- The P-Preferred-Identity header value contains the phone-number of the original caller

Sadly, the PBXs we use do not send any original caller information in their outgoing SIP packets:

INVITE sip:0031XXXXXX@sip.XXX.nl:5060 SIP/2.0

Howdy, Stranger!
