Deleting/Rejecting Entire messages?

Hi!

 

I've been asked to come up with an HMR that deletes a SIP message but I'm not sure that's possible.

 

I'd like to confirm with you guys that.

 

As far as I've seen this  would be the closest thing to a rejecting a SIP message:

 

SBC(sip-header-rules)# action reject

 


But, in case this header rule fires, the SIP message containing the header will be rejected as well? or what would happen there?

 

in this case (assuming possible) reject would be the same than delete the message? (enters the ingres realm but doesn't make the realm bridging?).
