Replace IPv6 address with fqdn

edited Aug 5, 2013 4:07PM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi, I'm recieving an invite with a header that I need to remove the IPv6 address from and replace it with an fqdn.  The header name is called p-com.cb.  My rule works fine with an IPv4 address in the contact header, but I cannot get it to work with the IPv6 address in the p-com.cb field.  The header looks like the following:

p-com.cb: <sip:martin@[2001:490:cff2:80:0:0:0:4]:6088>;call-id=[[eid:3695384929%2a00:8a00:2000:86:0:2:fb3f:9b01]]a6058d73@cscf01;from-tag=c8a84d57

Contact: <sip:1.2.3.4:5062;app-session-id=7de2662a;transport=udp>

My rule looks like:

sip-manipulation
        name                           chngPbcomHdr
description                    Replaces IPv6 Address with fqdn

Howdy, Stranger!
