Contact header, user part manipulation

in Acme Packet (MOSC) Question

Hello community,

 

I have a SIP softswitch platform that includes the calling party number in the Contact header in the SIP INVITE.

 

The problem is that even in the CLIR (restricted number) call, when the SBC passes the INVITE onwards to the untrusted PBX, the From/PAI/Privacy headers are screened, but the Contact header remains untouched.  So the calling number is exposed in the Contact header.

 

Is there any way to affect on this in the SBC, i.e. do user part manipulation on the Contact header? I guess the HMR is the hard(est) way, but are you aware of any off-the-shelf –solutions in the SBC configuration?
