RTP Origination
Hey guys quick question,
It was my understanding that if a SIP device received the SDP of a remote endparty that is should signal its own and send RTP as soon as possible rather than wait for receipt of RTP before sending. This is to open pinholes through firewalls and create NAT bindings in any device along the path.
Am I correct and is this written in any RFC as I can find mention of this type of thing when SDP changes but I cannot seem to find anything concrete for call setup.
Thanks
