Hello everyone.

Our customer needs to change DTMF tones from "sip-info" to "RFC 2833", through SD. Some test were done successfully in a lab environment, sending correctly Telephony events, this was possible by modifying both configuration elements “rfc2833-end-pkts-only-for-non-sig”  set to “disabled“ which default value was “enabled” and “translate-non-rfc2833-event” set to “enabled” which default value was “disabled” into (media-manager-config). In addition a change in sip-interface a was made “rfc2833-mode” set to “preferred”.

We are in doubt regarding to:

Is the change applied to “rfc2833-end-pkts-only-for-non-sig” set to “disabled“ recommendable?

Will this change affect service in the SD?

Guys any comments about.

Howdy, Stranger!
