Geo Redundancy best practices for devices

Does ACME Packet have any document with recommendations about the logic that access devices should apply for failover (SLB1 to SLB2) and fallback (SLB2 to SLB12) in a Geo Redundant solution?:

 

- In what cases the device shoould failover to secondary SLB? (timeouts, 5xx????......)

- When the device shoudl verify if the primary SLB is up and fallback?

- If the device is in an active call, should failover/fallback because the Registration fail or timeout?
