Diffserv and 802.1p - Matching/Interworking

Firstly, lets make sure that I've understood the manual correctly.

The media-policy attribute for a realm ONLY configures the tos-values for the RTP?

The class-profile attribute must be configured with a media-policy that matches message/sip in order for my SBC to set DSCP for my SIP traffic?

But I can actually define a single media policy, used by both media-policy attribute, and class profile? :-O

Hopefully I havent missunderstood anything major anyway.

The follow-on question becomes:

Once the packet has been "dscp-stamped", and is then sent over a vlan-tagged link; what is the values of the 802.1p priority field? Browsing through the manual, I cant even find a reference to 802.1p.

Howdy, Stranger!
