RFC 6140 and SIPconnect

Does the v6.2 Session Director support RFC 6140 (mass registration)? I am looking at the benefits of using the RFC 6140 method that has SIPconnect support versus a backend Registrar implicit mechanism on Broadworks.

Any information that can be provided in this area; pro's con's gotcha's would be welcomed.
