How to get SIP from TLS trunk

edited Nov 8, 2013 12:05PM in Acme Packet (MOSC) 6 commentsAnswered ✓

Our customer is using TLS on the SIP trunks with its clients. Support organization from customer is asking us how they can see the SIP messages. I.e.. A clients upgrades the PBX, voice calls are not working anymore: how can they trouble shoot the trunk, if they cannot see the SIP messages.

Client has read about decrypting SSL with wireshark, but the private key is not known, Besides this restricts the security as Diffie-Hellman cannot be used.

Does anybody know a method to get the original SIP messages?

Customer does not want to use the log files, as these grow rapidly with the risk of filling up the file system.

Howdy, Stranger!
