Simple descriptions of SIPREC recording features on the NN4500/3820

Acme Packet SBCs handle session forking & replication more easily and affordably than media servers, conference servers and PBXs where active recording is taxing, difficult to configure & expensive.

Recording from a Net-Net Session Border Controller delivers upon the promise of 100% recording within any business and ensures compatibility with leading recording solutions as well as Acme Packet’s Net-Net Interactive Session Recorder (Net-Net ISR).

  • Standards based recording - Unlike other gateways and border control platforms, Acme Packet is committed to standardized SIP recording and will update to the SIPREC IETF standard as it evolves.

  • Robust load balancing across recording servers - Current vendors’ can support 200 to 1,000 concurrent recording sessions  on a  single recording server. However, one Acme Packet SBC creates & load balances up to 16,000 recording sessions across recording servers.

Howdy, Stranger!
