upgrading ECz7.1.0 on 3820

Hi guys

i read documentation about upgrading ECz7.1.0 on a 3820 but it is not clear...after upgrading bootloader to a date of July 2013 or later is enough to put file *.bz in /code/images/ and change bootparam path according to it ?

becouse i read also about a Stage 3 bootoader(nnECZ710.32.boot)  to put in /boot directory , do i need to follow also this step ?

becouse in previous releases i never used this Stage 3 bootloader
