Software image upgrade and bootloader

Hello!

 

I'd like to get some guidance in the software upgrade process in the formerly known Enterprise Session Director Virtual Machine Edition (Vmware version).

 

First of all, where are all the available software images located?, can anyone post a link or a guide in order to get access to those?

 

Then, looking at a set of software images, I've seen a set of files, basically all with the same name but different extension (6.4 m2p1) there are the vhd files and the .boot files, in order to upgrade the sw image, is it necessary to install the .boot image? if so, whete can I verify this process?. I understand the actual image file can be entered to the SBC and be used just like a regular image file does (gz file in a 3820 appliance for example), where can I verify this process as well?
