replacing wancom interfaces in the Net-Net eSD Server edition

Hello everybody!

I'd like to getr some advice on the ethinterfaces pertaining the net-net eSD server edition, wich is running in the HP DL120 certified server.

What we are seeing is that one of the wancom (wancom0) interfaces is non responsive, we checked the eth port and it seems damaged and is not responding, this is a motherboard port so its replacement seems a little complicated.

What we have in mind for this situation is to get an additional NIC, install it on the server, and use the additional port as the wancom interface (wancom0).

Do you guys think this would be possible?, what would be the process of setting up in the sbc the new port once installed?, Which one NICs are suppoprted by the acme packet software?

Howdy, Stranger!
