ESD VMe licensing and upgrade

Hello,

I just installed my 1st ESD VM edition (on ESX 5.1) and have some questions:

 

# show version

ACME Net-Net OSVM Firmware ECZ6.4.0 MR-1 GA (Build 267)

Build Date=06/18/13

This image will no longer function after : 2014-03-08

 

I installed a permanent license, why is the last line displayed then?

When getting the license, I was told that the USB dongle is no more needed. Is this correct?

 

Software version 640m2p1 seems to be available. On the website, only the .exe file for USB stick creation is downloadable. Is 640m2p1 supported on VM edition? Where can I get the .bz file separately?
