Release & Patch Comparability

Hello,

 

I noticed now a couple of times that some issues rises from the simple fact that a release did not support some parameters or features that an older stream is actually supporting.


I understood that due this fact it is hard to identify the implications sourced by defects or enhancements not yet included, by moving from one software stream/patch to another.

 

For example from 6.2.0m11p1 to 6.3.0m4 or 6.4.0p2 or .6.3.9m2p4 and viceversa.

Am wondering if it is possible to find somewhere details at which point a software stream is sourced from another, and which maintenance release correlates to each other?
