ESXi 5.0 and ESXi 5.0 U1 on ESD - VME

Hi!

I have a couple of questions regarding ESXi 5.0 and ESXi 5.0 U1:

I've been searching for a server to run the eSD-VME in a vmware environment and according to the documentation (TECH NOTE Net-Net ESD-VME & SD-VME Installation Guide on VMware ESXi 5.0) I've checked is recommended to run on 5.0, while the HW I intend to run the VME on is 5.0 U1 certified.

So, that means that it won't work if I install 5.0 on the HW?

Any of these servers should be fine to work with:

SYS-6017R-WRF
1027R-WRF
5017R-WRF
SYS-6017B-URF
SYS-1027B-URF

Any of the differences between these two vmware releases will impact the compatibility between the VME and the hardware?, or the update just addresses security issues and so.
