Lead Conversion Error

Hi all,

A user is trying to convert the lead from a campaign to create an Opportunity but he is getting the following error:

Error Message:

Lead Conversion could not be completed. The value in the lead pick list field campaign name does not exist in the target source campaign. Please contact your system Administrator (SBL-ODS-50581)

Any Idea on how to resolve this issue?

Things that I found out:

  • I have checked the Campaign Name- Its valid.

  • The Lead is already a contact within CRM for an account

  • The user is only trying to create a new opportunity out of the lead conversion process.
