Auto Route a Load

I have read the white paper on Automatic Routing and Rating (1085078.1).  The question I have is about the trigger point for the auto routing, That is, does the auto-routing occur as soon as the load is built, and the origin and destination information is entered?  Also, will the system re- auto route the load if the origin and destination info are changed?
