User equivalence fails due to Non-standard SSH port

I have a NON-standard port for SSH. User equivalence fails. I have configured ssh as per all the available docs. (Configuring a 2 node RAC . Oracle 12.1.0.2, RHEL 7 )

Instead of default ssh port 22, a different port has been allocated.

From command prompt ssh to other node works perfectly  (Setup as per Oracle docs)

Is there a way to provide a parameter to cluvfy utility so that it picks the non-standard port
