Please advise us why autoconfig is triggered when applying Patch 17862048:R12.ICX.B.

This patch was offered in  currently ongoing SR : Requistion disappeared while workflow is still active."

We have received some concerns from the DBA team about this patch as they experienced some unexpected event during the patch application:

"When the below patch was applied in dev instane it ran autoconfig . Autoconfig does affects the entire application environment and hence might cause other issues. This autoconfig requirement is not mentioned even in the patch readme or patch analysis. Can you please follow up with Oracle via corresponding SR about the same. We have to plan and act accordingly as this might go to higher instances and in prod as well."
