When I use yum to update the system and allow this kernel update

kernel.x86_64                  2.6.18-402.0.0.0.1.el5   el5_latest
kernel-devel.x86_64            2.6.18-402.0.0.0.1.el5   el5_latest
kernel-headers.x86_64          2.6.18-402.0.0.0.1.el5   el5_latest
kernel-uek.x86_64              2.6.39-400.249.3.el5uek  ol5_UEK_latest
kernel-uek-devel.x86_64        2.6.39-400.249.3.el5uek  ol5_UEK_latest
kernel-uek-firmware.noarch     2.6.39-400.249.3.el5uek  ol5_UEK_latest
kexec-tools.x86_64             2.0.3-4.0.9.el5          el5_latest

The system refuses to boot .

So I have to continue with the old kernel

The last errors reported in the boot are in the attachment.

Any ideas as to where I can investigate and fix this as we would like to be on teh same kernel on all our systems and this appears to be a suitable baseline.

Howdy, Stranger!
