Any workaround for the bash 3.2 requirement?

Received the following question in reply to the release announcement in the Payables community:

 

ORAchk neeeds bash version > 3.2 , in our environment its 3.0 and system administrator couldn't upgrade bash version to 3.2 , is there any workaround to use ORAchk.

 

Would appreciate if someone here could help with this question.
