Datafile Addition while standby build

Hi

We are building standby build on solaris with oracle version 11.1.0.7.

We are scp'ing the datafiles from standby to a new host. we have taken standby control file backup.However while datafile copy is in progress , we

had a space issue for tablespace on primary. so we need to add datafiles and added them.


Can you suggest the way forward for the standby build ??


we take the another copy of standby control file ?
