Actual Cost Completion Reversal

I've read through E1: 31A: Reversing Completions or Negative Completions for Actual Cost (Doc ID 1083568.1)

Before I try to test this I would like to clarify something.

If I have a WO for qty of 10 for item 1 that is an actual cost item. The user completed 5 yesterday and R31802A ran at night. Today the user accidentally completed the 2 and would like to reverse the completion, is it OK for him to do a negative completion for 2?

NOTE (Material and Labor back flushed at completion. aka superbackflush)
