Work Order Duration error?

Hello Experts,

I am facing an unusual behaviour in the EAM Work order duration.

I created a Work order with 2 operations op1 & op2, op1 has 2 resource worked for 0.5hours & op2 has 3 resource worked for 2.5 hours. Total maintenance work is for 3 hours and Total manhour is 8.5.

Detail explanation:

2Plumber * 0.5hours     =1 Manhour

3Helper * 2.5hours     =7.5 Manhour

Total Duration=3hours, Total Manhour is 8.5.

How to enter op1 & op2 with the above manipulations to see the duration as 3hours, as i tried with all the combination but not getting proper durations.

Kindly help on the above and respond asap.
