different number of digits within 1 coa segment

Dear All,

Especially to financial EBS consultant who has experience building / restructuring COA.

I will start a new project (COA restructuring). Client has shared their new COA values with me.  I found within one segment of COA (activity). They have 2 different digits. Some activity have 5 digits, and the others activity have 6 digits.

What is the impact if they have inconsistency digit like that within 1 segment?

If nothing serious will happen, then i just will accept their data  sorry for taking some of your times to answer this.
